K.L. Taylor

K.L. Taylor is a UK-based author and PhD candidate who splits her time between academic research and crafting stories about messy heroines and the monsters who love them — sometimes literally.

She has a weakness for flirty banter and morally flexible characters, and for the sort of tension that keeps readers up later than they meant to be. There's action in the books, and magic, and a good deal of spice, though the proportions vary depending on what the story asks for.

Her short fiction appears in Split Ends (Beaches and Trails Publishing) — a psychological thriller anthology — and Fireworks & Flirtation (Tender and Tempting Tales), a steamy romance collection. She is currently neck-deep in her first full-length novel and doing her best not to fall in love with the villain.

When she's not writing or buried in research she's mostly drinking tea and not reading the to-be-read pile, which has honestly got a bit out of hand.
