K.L. Taylor is a UK-based author and PhD candidate who splits her time between academic research and crafting stories about messy heroines and the monsters who love them — sometimes literally.

She writes high-heat romantasy and psychological thrillers with a fondness for flirty banter, morally flexible characters, and the kind of tension that makes you forget you were supposed to stop reading three chapters ago. Her work blends action, magic, and unapologetic spice in equal measure.

Her short fiction appears in Split Ends (Beaches and Trails Publishing) — a psychological thriller anthology — and Fireworks & Flirtation (Tender and Tempting Tales), a steamy romance collection. She is currently neck-deep in her first full-length novel and doing her best not to fall in love with the villain.

When she's not writing or buried in research, she's arguing with her characters, consuming alarming quantities of tea, and steadfastly ignoring a to-be-read pile that has its own postcode.
